Is the lodge private, or will I be sharing it with other guests?

You will have the entire lodge to yourself. The lodge is completely separated from the adjacent farmhouse, allowing you to enjoy complete privacy.

Is there an EV charging station?

Unfortunately, there is no electric vehicle charging station available at the lodge.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in the lodge.

Is the lodge suitable for children?

The lodge is suitable for children aged approximately 5–6 years and older. We do not provide facilities for younger children, such as a baby cot, high chair, or changing area.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge. Smoking outdoors is allowed, but please ensure that cigarette butts are disposed of safely, as the lodge is located near a protected natural area.

Is free Wi-Fi available?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.

How do I get to the lodge, and is parking available?

Navigate to Oosterbrinkweg 8-01, Kootwijkerbroek, The Netherlands. The lodge is clearly visible from Oosterbrinkweg. Turn onto the unpaved driveway to reach the side of the lodge, where you will find two private parking spaces.

Is breakfast included?

Unfortunately, we do not offer breakfast due to local regulations. We recommend visiting Bakkerij Waal in Kootwijkerbroek for fresh bread and pastries. You may also enjoy stopping by TopZuivel for fresh cheese and dairy products to create your own delicious breakfast.

How is the kitchen equipped?

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. We also provide pepper, salt, and cooking oil, so you don't need to bring these yourself.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Bed linen is included with every stay. Bath towel sets are available for a small additional fee and can be booked through the guest portal after your reservation is confirmed. One bath towel set includes two towels, and you may book multiple sets if required.

Can I rent an electric bicycle?

Yes. After making your reservation, you can book an electric bicycle through the guest portal on a per person, per day basis, up until your departure day. After your booking, Lekkerleven Lodge will contact you to arrange the rental dates and inform you where you can collect the bicycle.

Is there a barbecue available?

You can rent our Mini Big Green Egg, either on its own or together with one of our barbecue meat packages, featuring grass-fed beef from our own farm. It's highly recommended for anyone who appreciates pure, high-quality meat—you'll taste the difference!

What time is check-in?

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM (15:00) on your arrival day. Your lodge will be ready for you at that time.

How do I access the lodge?

The lodge is secured with a unique access code created specifically for your stay. Enter the code on the keypad next to the door to unlock it. You will receive your code digitally before arrival. The code becomes active at 3:00 PM (15:00) on your arrival day and is automatically deactivated at 10:00 AM (10:00) on your departure day.

What time is check-out?

We kindly ask that you check out by 10:00 AM (10:00) on your departure day, allowing us enough time to prepare the lodge for our next guests.

Are there any wellness facilities?

Not yet, but we are working on adding wellness facilities in the near future. Please keep an eye on our website for updates.

How is the bathroom equipped?

The bathroom includes a hairdryer, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Bath towel sets can easily be added to your booking in advance through the guest portal.
